UPDATE on the spidermites!

SPIDERMITES
I checked some of my fruit trees for spidermites today and found that one of my pomegranate fruit trees was covered in spidermite webs and eggs. This is very disappointing. Luckily, I already know what to do when there are spidermites.

I wiped off the webs and eggs with insecticidal soap with cotton swabs. I remembered to wipe all the leaves and stem too, so the entire fruit tree because the spidermites are microscopic.
I then placed this poor pomegranate tree in a windowsill that is far away from my other fruit trees.

It is hard to show you all of the spider mites' webs and eggs, but you can at least see one white egg inside the red circle in the image below! The light I use to easily spot the "hard to see" webs and white eggs is a grow light with a blue spectrum. The light is so bright that it makes it much better to see the webs and eggs!!!

This image below is to show you what the pomegranate fruit tree looks like that got the spidermites.

I used small cups to spray insecticidal soap in. I also used cotton swabs to wipe down the pomegranate plant with. And the insecticidal soap I used is organic and one you can use on fruit trees:

My largest pink lady apple fruit tree that had spidermites on it, is continuing to sit in a windowsill far away from my other fruit trees.
I checked its leaves today, and saw no webs or eggs, which is good!

Thank you for viewing another update on the spidermites!!!
