Update on spider mites
Spider mites!
The little buggers came back! They made webs all over one of my pomegranate fruit tree sprouts 2 days ago. I cleaned the webs off the fruit tree sprout, and put insecticidal soap all over its other leaves and stems to kill the spider mites. I then placed it far away from my other plants in a windowsill.
After a day I brought the pomegranate fruit tree sprout back to where all my other pomegranate fruit tree sprouts are.
Today(Monday), I checked all of my pomegranate fruit tree sprouts and none of them had webs on their leaves, making me think that the spider mites are not investing them anymore.
Sadly though, my poor apricot tree had the web and eggs on one of its leaves today, so this morning I placed the apricot tree far away from my other plants.
None of my other fruit tree sprouts have webs on their leaves at all, just the apricot tree.
The spider mites seem to only infest one fruit tree sprout at a time, which makes me think I could possibly get rid of them soon if I am careful in keeping the infested tree with spider mites away from the others.
So that is what is happening with my fruit tree sprouts. The spider mites continue to cause damage to
my fruit tree sprouts.
I have not been able to get rid of them yet.
Thanks again for reading my blog.
