Update on 2 cherry trees!

2 cherry trees

I was able germinate a rainier cherry tree seed as you can see in the image below. What I did to germinate the seed: I took off the outside shell with  pliers. I then placed the seed into a wet napkin and then into azip-lock bag. Then I kept the seed in a dark warm place to germinate, which it did very quickly:

 


This cherry tree is a lot older so it is a lot bigger. It's grown 2-3 inches taller this summer:
