A honey mesquite tree seed that germinated!

Germinated Honey Mesquite tree seed
You can see the white root and two green leaves from a germinated seed of a honey mesquite tree below. The germination process for this seed began on February 28, beginning with a soak in hot water, then giving the seed a shirt soak a vinegar and hot water, and then soaking it in hot water again, and then placing it in dessert dirt and potting soil. I then made the soil wet, covered the container it was in with plastic to keep the seed moist inside, and I also attempted to keep the seed warm with a heating pad. I also used a grow light to give it light.
